Marshall is from Greyton town and a member of the Country Conquerors, an Afrikaans reggae band that will perform at the festival on Saturday night (14 December).

He is nature conservation guide and a member of the Greyton Transition Town Council & the Greyton Conservation Society. In his spare time he take groups on nature walks, educating people about the local plants and the its medicinal uses.

During the festival, he will conduct daily guided walks to the Nature Reserve to showcase the beauty of nature in Greyton.

Music Evening

The Country Conquerors is an Afrikaans reggae band based in Greyton. Their distinctive brand of reggae is a syncretic fusion of classic seventies “one-drop” style with a more frenetic, jaggedy rhythm that is native to the Western Cape.

Guided Walks

Guided Nature Walks

Marshall is a nature conservation guide and will take participants on daily walks in the beautiful nature reserve. His extensive knowledge of the local plants and animals make this a very informative activity.
