This music CD will be for sale at the festival. A percentage of the sales will be donated to the Greyton Transition Town - a community-based, non-profit organisation that seeks to inspire and empower the people of Greyton and neighbouring communities. Dennis Hawk is a yoga musician, Kirtan chant leader, recording artist and Native American flute-maker. Combining his life-long passion for music and his commitment to yoga, Dennis creates both live and recorded music for yoga.

Jai Uttal

Grammy nominated Jai Uttal is a pioneer in the world music community with his eclectic “East-meets-West” sound. Uttal’s album Queen of Hearts (Nutone Records) is a unique mixture of reggae, ska, and samba rhythms, used as a backdrop for call and response, dance-oriented Kirtan. According to Jai “World music is music from everywhere. Music that creates bridges. Music that unites hearts and cultures. Music that brings peace.”

Jim Gelcer

Jim, originally from South Africa, is an award-winning and internationally acclaimed musician and composer. His love of music and yoga led him organically into the world of kirtan. His first kirtan album, Bhagavan was declared one of the best releases of the year by the two big kirtan radio shows in the US.

Krishna Das

Layering traditional Hindu kirtan with instantly accessible melodies and modern instrumentation, Krishna Das has been called yoga's "rock star." Krishna Das - known to friends, family, and fans as simply KD - has taken the call-and-response chanting out of yoga centers and into concert halls, becoming a worldwide icon and the best-selling chant artist of all time, with over 300,000 records sold. He was recently nominated in 2012 for a Grammy Award for best New Age Album for Live Ananda - a song of this ablum has been donated to the festival!

The Mayapuris have crash-landed into the kirtan/chant genre, quickly becoming the most talked-about group in this growing scene of exotic world music. The Mayapuris traveled the world enthusing crowds with their dynamic drum dances and kirtan performances. Thy are travelers, kirtan gypsies, the breed of performers who stop keeping count of how many countries they’ve performed in.

Nina Rao

Nina Rao learned traditional chants from her grandfather in a village in south India when she was nine years old. The chants quietly stayed with her until she rediscovered chanting with Krishna Das in New York in 1996. Nina is Krishna Das's assistant and accompanies him on cymbals and vocals. She appears on 'Nina Chalisa' on Krishna Das' Flow of Grace CD and has her own CD "Antarayaami".

Qüirio travels around the globe with their music full of hope for the hundreds of people who have attended their concerts and workshops, filling the spaces with songs, with laughter, with art, in an environment that seems to float between spirituality and activism. Their artistic proposal appeals to the use of sacred songs and mantras. Their music is within the genres of world music and kirtan with a native mexican flair that will take you on a wonderful journey to your soul.

Sahil Jagtiani

Sahil’s albums have seen him taking the role of lead singer, guitarist, composer, music director, keyboardist, sound engineer and programmer. With over 13 albums to his credit, Sahil regularly conducts satsangs in aid of the Art of Living Foundation and also performs Youth 'Soul Sync' concerts to help raise funds for the service projects.
